Pamplemousse Goose

i’m really excited to be a finalist in this year’s pdn photo annual! congrats to all the other photographers in it as well! the image that i shot for pet carrier/accessories designer bk atelier won in the corporate design/photo products category. this was a really fun shoot featuring the adorable boston terrier maddy, some neat birch branches and moss, a beautiful loft, and bk atelier’s 100% vegan pet carriers.

many thanks to justine kwok, designer/owner of bk atelier for collaborating on this with me. justine is based out of hong kong, and we did the shoot in new york when she was in town for a little bit for work. we spent a lot of time brainstorming together the best way to show the natural, organic, and vegan nature of her product, whilst still maintaining the fashion/chic look that her brand has. like a lot of shoots there was a lot of running around, location scouting, prop shopping, dog casting, etc, that happened before the shoot day, but once the shoot day arrived, everything came together so beautifully. i love it when that happens. to see more images from this shoot click here.
