i shot a portrait last week of jessica repetto for working class magazine. i’ve been collaborating with friend, writer, and handbag designer moni briones on projects for working class over this past year. for this story, moni interviewed and wrote a profile about jessica, and i photographed her portrait. jessica is an illustrator who does freelance work for vogue italia, and she’s currently launching her own menswear fashion line. she’s twenty-something, really talented, and was super sweet and normal on top of that. during our shoot, i learned that she lived in milan for a year, and she still travels back and forth there fairly often. i was happy to meet someone who’s so motivated and loves traveling as much as i do. on a totally separate note, it’s time for me to go to dance aerobics class…where i most definitely will be the worst person in class. it’s sort of like high school gym class all over again. some things in life never change.
